We are proud to announce Discmania as the presenting sponsor of the 2015 Aussie Open!
As part of their support for the new Australian PDGA Major, Discmania is releasing a limited run of their brand new Discmania C-Line CD2.
This hot-stamped fundraiser disc is the first in a five-part series featuring the story of how Frisbee sports began Down Under. Key moments in Australia's Frisbee history have been beautifully captured in comic book style by local graphic designer Jake Quodling, with the first instalment featuring Dan "Stork" Roddick and Jo Cahow on their promotional Frisbee tour of Australia in 1976.
Only 500 of these first run discs will be released worldwide, so don't miss out on your opportunity to own a piece of history stamped on Discmania's brand new driver. Keep an eye out for the next disc in the story coming soon, with each part in this collector series released monthly leading up to the Major in Perth, Western Australia next January.
The CD2 is a disc for those hungry for control. It doesn’t get too flashy with a lot of turn and fade like many distance drivers out there, but on the contrary it can hold a line and still bring you the distance needed to cover most fairways. The CD2 is actually a pretty close relative not only to the CD, but also to our praised speed 10 Power Driver, the PD. Out of the box you will see the CD2 perform a lot like a seasoned PD, providing you with enough stability to conquer most headwinds and a reliable low speed fade that takes you underneath the basket. For the less powerful players the CD2 can easily work as the most overstable driver in the bag, while the majority of players can trust the CD2 as their main driver in a wide range of situations.
